I am a graphic designer by trade, and a hand-lettering artist at heart.
Let me show you what I can do.
I am a graphic designer by trade and a hand-lettering enthusiast at heart. With every project brief, I strive to deliver unique design solutions that communicate the intended idea in a concise, thought-provoking and memorable way.
My educational background in life science allowed me to develop my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. After completing my Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo, I decided to pursue a more creative career path by earning a Certificate in Graphic Design for Print and Web at Humber College. I've always had great creative intuition and a tendency to skew towards the right side of the brain, but this fast-paced course really equipped me with the right knowledge and technical skills that I needed to reach my potential as a designer.
I am the best of both worlds. My creative design sense, combined with sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are the perfect kind of mix that you need on your team.
It's my belief that your branding should reflect who you are and communicate what kind of service customers can expect from you. I understand this well and can help you make that all-important lasting first impression a great one.
My eye for layout allows me to create the perfect solution for any website need. My knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Wordpress turns this into a responsive website that engages the user from the moment that the page loads.
I can give your design project that vintage look with custom hand-lettering and calligraphy. Whether hand-drawn or digital, I like to incorporate illustrations into my design to bring more interest to the content.
I can take your magazine or multi-page print publication to the next level by recreating the layout for mobile device viewing, and using a combination of interactive pull-tabs, buttons and animations to bring content to life.
